As director, I assume he generated many of the ideas for this post-modern space agey choreography, costume and lighting. The video for Daft Punk's Around the World is more focused on the dance. A video for The White Stripes was stop action with legos. Gondry has filmed using many different medias. In 2008 he directed the more mainstream film, Be Kind Rewind. Later, he directed The Science of Sleep-an abstract cinematographly intriguing movie. His most well-known work is Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, which was masterfully directed. After getting his foot in the door he worked with artists such as Beck, The White Stripes, The Chemical Brothers, The Vines, and Radiohead. The videos caught the attention of artist Bijork and she asked him to do some work for her. His career began in 1986 when he started making music videos for his band. Music videos by the French movie, commercial and music video director Michel Gondry are incredible.

#EENIE MEENIE MINEY MO SHIRT SERIES#
This series holds potential for being very culturally significant and insightful. The musicality of it was not discussed as much as the content. Then, her and hip-hop legend LaShawn Daniels wrote the song in no more than 4 hours. In the interview she spoke about a new group of young "Justin Biebers"and how a song about first kisses would probably sell. I feel like her perceptions are a bit skewed because she goes off of the cultural assumption that, "Thirteen-year-olds want to be eighteen and nine-year-olds want to be thirteen." Her work partially consists of finding emerging musicians and writing songs for them. However, she can't make the song sound too naive and young-there is a delicate balance between the risque and the innocent. She thinks a lot about if her songs are appropriate for children to her and sing around the house. Riddick recognizes that she has a great cultural responsibility. She has sold songs to and produced hits by Willow Smith, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Jay-X, Eminem, and Rihanna. Producers/songwriters are interviewed about their methods of creating a "hit." The first episode focuses on Berklee School of Music graduate Makeba Riddick. NPR recently started a new series about hitmakers.
